After defeating England by five wickets in the second of the three one-day internationals on Sunday, South Africa secured a commanding 2-0 lead over England in the series. When asked to bat first, the visitors produced 342/7 in 50 overs thanks to excellent performances by Jos Buttler (94*) and Harry Brook (80), respectively. The game, however, totally changed when South Africa’s captain Temba Bavuma hit 109 off 102 balls in the second innings, allowing the hosts to chase down the mark with five wickets and five balls remaining. Apart from the amazing victory, the on-stump microphone captured banter between Jos Buttler and Rassie van der Dussen attracted everyone’s attention.

When Buttler asked, “What’s your problem Rassie,” the conversation became tense. You aren’t the exclusive focus at all times. I’m free to attempt to catch the ball. Later, the umpire intervened to mediate the conflict and instructed both players to remain calm.
