While fielding in the second ODI, India Captain Rohit Sharma was struck on the thumb. He was evaluated by the BCCI Medical Team, and at a nearby Dhaka hospital, he underwent scans. He would miss the last ODI since he took a flight to Mumbai for a specialist consultation. Later, a decision regarding his availability for the upcoming Test series will be made.

After the first ODI, fast bowler Kuldeep Sen complained of back tightness. After being evaluated by the BCCI Medical Team, he was told to skip the second ODI. Now that their ailments are being managed further by NCA, Kuldeep and Deepak will also report there.
