Endrick, a young Brazilian prodigy, will sign with Real Madrid for an unknown price in July 2024, his Sao Paulo-based club Palmeiras said on Thursday. Brazilian media rumours state that Real will shell out $75 million to acquire the 16-year-old attacker, who is regarded as one of the game’s most promising young players.

“Palmeiras, Real Madrid and representatives for the striker have agreed this Thursday (15th) the player’s transfer to the Spanish club in July 2024, when he will be 18,” said the Brazilian club on Twitter, adding that the financial details were confidential.

Thus, he will become the third young Brazilian forward in recent years to sign for Real while still a juvenile before switching to the Spanish powerhouses after turning 18 in order to abide by FIFA’s international transfer regulations. Vinicius Junior, who is now 22 years old, signed with Real in 2017 and joined the team the next year, while Rodrygo, who is 21 years old, signed in 2018 and moved to North America the following year.
